The Traxxas Nitro Rustler has totally out-muscled the competition to become the first name in 2WD high performance stadium trucks. With its race-tuned TRX 2.5 race engine, Rustler can easily hit 50+ mph, out-of-the-box!
Nitro Rustler’s chassis is manufactured from aircraft grade T6 aluminium, making it light, strong and the ideal heatsink to help keep the engine cool for smoother running. The TRX 2.5 engine itself features a twin-needle carburettor for finer setting of high and low end power, plus it uses the legendary Traxxas EZ-Start electric starting system. This LED monitored system makes engine-starting a breeze, time after time!
The included tuned pipe is dyno-tuned to the engine to give the maximum power over the broadest rpm range and a 75cc flip-top fuel tank is included for long run times. Power is routed from the engine via the Traxxas Magnum 281 ballraced transmission, a sealed unit housing a planetary-geared differential with hardened steel gears for longer service life and slipper clutch. Next, high-strength telescoping drive shafts efficiently route power to the wheels whilst easily allowing for suspension movement.
Nitro Rustler’s long-travel composite suspension arms are designed to aid stability, and when coupled to the independent oil-filled Ultra shocks, give a plush ride that belies the surfaces this truck is capable of traversing!
Giving you the best connection between driver and ride, Traxxas’ TQ 2.4GHz multi-function radio is also included. Featuring Traxxas Link technology, this radio can auto-store the settings for up to 20 Traxxas Link enabled vehicles!
