The Spitfire was designed by R. J. Mitchell in 1936 and is the most well known British aircraft of WWII. It served in every area of combat. Our model was designed in 1942 and is qualified to fly in Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests. It is a 1/12 scale, flying model.
This free flight rubber powered kit includes a full size rolled plan, building and flying instructions, printed balsa, hand picked balsa strip wood, clear plastic, propeller, rubber motor, wheels and Easy Built Lite tissue in light grey and olive. You will need a hobby knife, fine sandpaper, building board, pins and glue.
